Apprenticeships are a great way to learn new skills and gain valuable work experience while also earning a wage. You will work closely with your employer and NSC to learn all about the sector and the day to day tasks that come with working in that industry. You will be able to use your new skills and knowledge to support you through your qualification. You will also learn a wide variety of skills that will assist you in a working environment.
Why Choose NSC for your Apprenticeship?
The College has a dedicated team of highly skilled assessors who focus on encouraging learners’ growth and development within their chosen sector. We provide a quality driven apprenticeship programme where the learner is given the full support and guidance they need to complete their qualification.
Earn While You Learn
All apprentices must receive the appropriate national minimum wage. You’ll be paid during your apprenticeship. The current minimum wage
rate for an apprentice
is £3.40 per hour. This rate applies to apprentices
under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. You must be paid at least the minimum wage
rate for your age if you're an apprentice
aged 19 or over and have completed your first year.
The apprenticeships are a minimum of 12 months for a Level 2 and a minimum of 15 months for a Level 3. You will complete the apprenticeship in the work place, with the support of a dedicated assessor. Some apprenticeships may require you to attend college on a regular basis for underpinning knowledge.
