What would you say to anyone thinking of doing the course?

This programme aims to provide learners with the qualifications and skills to progress onto a Level 1 programme or to improve their chances of obtaining paid employment. This is a one year course where students learn a range of skills and information, necessary to succeed in their chosen vocation.
Alongside your course you will study English and/or maths to improve your skills in these vital subjects by attending structured classes, as well as having your English and maths assessed in all of your work throughout your course.
Learners will study a core of functional skills and mandatory generic units as well as vocationally specific units. Lessons are delivered to meet the needs of individual learners after a period of initial assessment and learners take part in practical sessions that relate to their chosen vocational areas.
