WHAT DOES THE SUBJECT INCLUDE?
This short course is ideal for those who are interested in learning the basics of technical drawing using computer aided design (CAD). The course will use industry standard CAD packages to guide you through set up to completed engineering drawings. This course is ideal for beginners or people who need to gain extra skills in CAD.
WHAT IS THE STRUCTURE OF THE COURSE?
During the classes you will learn:
System set up
Use of borders/layers and paper space
Basic modeling and editing functions
Electrical circuit drawing
At the end of the course you will have a good knowledge of how to operate CAD systems to produce working drawings.
IS THIS COURSE FOR ME?
Don’t worry if you’ve never used a CAD package before. You will be given the skills to get you started. An interest in engineering and/or technical drawing would be preferable but not essential.
WHAT ARE THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS?
All you need to bring is USB flash drive to save your work on.
