Customer Service Apprentice level 2

Vacancy Description

The role will include serving customers on both the sandwiuch bar and coffee shop. Taking payment and keeping to hygiene levels.

Duties will include:

    • Communicating with customers
    • Promoting special products
    • Serving hot drinks and cold food
    • Cleaning
    • Addhering to all the Health and Safety reports and procedures
    • Developing a good relationships with customers.

Family run and owned coffee shop and sandwich bar on one of Oswestry's busy shopping streets. Open 6 days a week Mon - Sat 8am - 4pm.

Wages

Meets minimum apprenticeship wage

Hours

30 - 35 hrs

Future Prospects

Move on to a level 3; Full time position; Supervisor Position (Possibility)

Skills & Personal Attributes Required

No particular skills are required, all skills needed will be taught on the job.

We will need to be flexible with working hours from 8 am. As well as have the following attributes;

    • Friendly
    • Good People Skills
    • Common Sense
    • Good Time Keeping
    • Ability to multitask
Qualifications Required

Non formal qualifications needed, Maths and English at GCES would be an advantage, but not essential as functional skills will be offered as part of the Apprenticeship.

Will have to complete Food Hygiene level 2 once employed as an apprentice.
