You will be expanding your practical and theoretical knowledge to include intermediate techniques, creating highly professional looks and finishes. Working in the College’s fully-equipped commercial salon, you will be provided with an excellent learning environment for hairdressing.

What does this subject include?
The course consists of the following units: • Health & Safety • Communication • Customer Service/Reception • Style & Finish Hair • Set & Dress Hair • Barbering • Cut Hair Using Basic Techniques • Shampoo, Condition & Treat the Hair & Scalp • Change Hair Colour Assessment is continuous and industry related, with assignments, tests, projects and practical work. All full-time students are required to study maths and English at the appropriate level.
What is the structure of the course?
Emphasis is placed on practical skills. Work will be continually assessed throughout the course. The course consists of both theory and practical elements which all have to be passed in order for you to be successful. Unit Assessment Methods:-
