College Sports Maker Project

The primary aim of the College Sport Maker is to widen access and engage more learners within the college, in regular sporting activity at least once a week for 30 minutes. Activities will take place at both Oswestry and Walford campuses making use of the excellent outdoor sports facilities and sports hall.

These include rugby, basketball, badminton, archery, orienteering, inclusive cycling, martial arts, netball, dodgeball, goalball, wheelchair sports and a range of water based activities to name a few…

The College Sport Maker also creates opportunities for students to gain practical experience and skills through volunteering. The College Sport Maker is really looking forward to identifying the needs of the new learners and working with them to establish some new sports in the college.
