What is the course about?
A basic introduction to using the computer for beginners. Covering exploring and using the Internet. Working with email. Attaching document and photographs to emails. Basic Word. Being safe on-line.
The course is structured to introduce you to the subjects in easy, fun stages. Suitable for beginners who wish to learn how to use the internet/email/word and also for those who wish to ‘brush-up’ their skills of using a computer in a relaxed atmosphere. All ages are very welcome. No formal qualifications are involved in this course. No initial preparation is required.
Is there anything I need to bring with me?
Pen. File in which to store handouts/worksheets. Notebook. If you have an email address already, a note of your user name and password. If you have one, a memory stick – if not, guidance about memory sticks and their use will be given on the course.
No specific extra costs involved at this stage. However, you may wish to purchase a memory stick after the commencement of the course.
